Tips and FAQ
Always refer to your use and care manuals or call Sub Zero Repair Pros.
If a Sub-Zero appliance is flashing “Vacuum Condenser” or “Service”, what to do?
The main control board has detected unusually extended run times on your product if “Vacuum Condenser” or “Service” is flashing on your unit.
A filthy condenser might be one of the causes if this happens. Cleaning the condenser should be done on a regular basis. If it’s been more than six months since you vacuumed the condenser, do it right away, then turn your unit off and back on. This notice should be erased by turning off your device. If the “Vacuum Condenser” or “Service” warning appears after your condenser has been cleaned, call for service.
Control board on my Sub-Zero appliances is not responding?
Electronics can occasionally lock up. We’ve all had this happen with our PCs. If this happens, you may usually fix it by turning off (rebooting) your device at your home’s electrical panel. To re-boot, turn off the circuit breaker to the unit, then turn it back on.
Factory Certified Service VS. Non-certified service?
All Sub-Zero and Wolf factory trained servicers receive hands-on training the first year the appliances are introduced. While Sub-Zero appliances are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, factory servicers operate on them for two years. As a result, factory service technicians are exceptionally educated with your Sub-Zero appliances.
